Mrs. Lucille Dew Abel, 78, of 2727 Field Ave., died Wednesday at Baptist Hospital East.
She was a member of St. Matthews Women's Club, Order of Eastern Star and James Lee Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sons, William S. and Robert D. Abel, a sister Mrs. Vera Tefft; two brothers, Coleman G. and Herbert S. Dew; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Herbert C. Cralle Funeral Home 2428 Frankfort Ave., with burial in Resthaven Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home will be after noon Thursday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the memorial fund at James Lee Memorial Presbyterian Church.
