She was born Sept. 22, 1918, in Diegten, Switzerland, the daughter of Ida Caecilie Hafelfinger.
She married Walter Pluss on May 24, 1941. He died in 1999.
Mrs. Pluss moved to Vermont from Switzerland with her family in 1955 and helped her husband to establish the family farm in Clarendon.
She was a member and deacon of the Shrewsbury Community Church and sang in the church choir.
She was an avid gardener.
Survivors include three daughters, two sons, a sister, Selma Heiniman of Switzerland; three brothers,Karl Rieder,Ernst Rieder and Bruno Rieder, all of Switzerland; 4 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Christina, Ida and Verena.
The funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Aldous Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Clarendon Cemetery.
