Born in Carbondale, son of the late Julius J. and Eleanor J. Golecki Amadio, he was a member of Ascension Parish, Forest City, and a graduate of Forest City Regional High School. He worked as a dock supervisor for J.C. Penney's.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and snowmobiling.
Surviving are a sister, Juliana Wildenstein and husband, James, Pleasant Mount; two nephews; a grandniece; a grandnephew; aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral will be Saturday with a blessing service at 10 a.m. in the Jones and Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main St., Forest City. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Forest City.
