06/23/21 - With the assistance of the cemetery Sexton and crew (seen in 2nd photo), Thees's 3rd great nephew dug up Thees's buried but broken stone and cleaned it. This is indeed Thees Brandt born 1842.
The Crown Hill Cemetery records put together by the city of Sedalia lists this person as Thomas because the original record lists the person as a Th Brandt.
Thees and his brothers all immigrated to the Sedalia area. And the Sedalia Democrat from 29 May 1878 reports on the settlement of Thees Brandt's estate by his brother Peter, administrator, on the 2nd Monday of May, the 13th.
His daughter Lillian is buried in the same Block 6 and in Lot 11, in Grave 3.
