I was born November 13, 1931, (Friday the 13th), to Nell (Sims) and George Walker Tadlock, and raised by my daddy and step-mother, Ona Lee Tadlock, who was a mother to me.

I was raised in or near Waco, went to Nurses Training in Providence Hospital in Waco, and worked for Austin and Bastrop physicians until 1990.

I was baptized into Christ as a teenager on July 6, 1948 at West Texas Church of Christ by Brother Bernard Lemmons. I loved my church family at Smithville Church of Christ, was actively involved in the Smithville Art League, and assisted my husband Joe during his multiple year tenure as City Councilman of Smithville.

I married my beloved lifetime partner Joe Robinette in 1950. We were blessed with a daughter, Deborah, in 1951, and son, Joe B. Robinette, Jr., in 1952.

I am preceded to eternal life by my husband Joe, my father George, my mother Nell, step-mother Ona, brother, Mickey Lee Tadlock, and two half-sisters, Jeanette Anderson of Tyler, and Omie Simone of Houston.

I am survived by my loving children, Deborah Sue Robinette Parker and Joe B. Robinette Jr.. Three grandsons: Jon Robert Colgin, Jay Terrell Flowers, Cody Robinette; my granddaughter, Laura Nicole Robinette Minor; one sister, Betty Ruth Hubbard of Oklahoma, and one half-sister, Doris Grivas of Houston.
