It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Christian Tegler and Marilyn Florence (Gofton) Tegler on November 30, 2016.

John was born on July 28, 1945 to Herman and Grace Tegler in Walkerton, Ontario. Marilyn was born September 14, 1946 to George and Florence Gofton in Woodstock, Ontario.

John and Marilyn will be lovingly remembered by their three children, as well as three grandchildren, in addition to many cousins, nephews and nieces.

John had a long, successful career at Timberjack as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. John took pleasure in his retirement in many aspects including woodworking, cheering for his favorite hockey teams, and his many rounds of golf. Marilyn also had a long, successful career with the City of Woodstock in a variety of administrative positions, predominantly as an Administration Assistant in Human Resources. Marilyn was actively involved in all of her children and grandchildren's careers and activities. She was the glue that held the family together.
