Franklin News-Herald, Tuesday, Oct 1, 1985:

Mrs. Katherine B. Persons, 88, formerly of 1133 Liberty Street, died at 6:25 pm Monday in the Grove Manor Nursing Home, Grove City, where she'd been the past eight years. Born Dec. 19, 1896, in Perrine Corners, Mercer County, she was a daughter of Warren and Maude Wilson Perrine.


In November 1940, she married Roy H. Persons, who died July 6, 1959.


She worked for many years at the General Manifold Co.


Survivors include two step-daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Katherine) Kinch of Franklin, and Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Bear of Buffalo, NY; a sister, Crissie Harvey of Forth Worth, TX; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are two sisters, Iva Boles and Teressa Perrine Buck; and a step-daughter, Mrs. William (Mabel) Turner.


Services will be at Huff Chapel at 11 am Wednesday. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
