Ada M. (Johnson) Merritt, 84, of Hartford, widow of George Merritt, departed this life peacefully, Tuesday (March 29) at a local convalescent home. Born in Buena Vista, Ga., she moved to Hartford 14 years ago. She was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Hartford. She leaves to mourn her passing, a son and daughter-in-law, four daughters and two sons-in- law, 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a host of relatives and friends.
