On November 28, 2016 the devastating wildfires in Gatlinburg, Tennessee claimed the lives of Constance Reed, Chloe Reed, and Lily Reed. The story of the Reed Family has pierced through the heart of a nation, and our community and country mourn together during this very difficult time. Constance, Chloe and Lily are survived by their husband/father Michael Reed, and brother/son Nicholas Reed, both from Gatlinburg, Tennessee. A private family service was held in their honor.

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The pastor of the Reed family in Sevier County has announced that they've received official word that the body Constance Reed has been found - in the aftermath of the fires that swept through the Gatlinburg area on Monday.

Pastor Phillip C. Morris, Jr. announced at 2:00 pm Saturday that the Sevier County Sheriff's Department had notified family members that the body of Constance Reed had been recovered and positively identified. He said officials had not yet confirmed the recovery of the two Reed daughters, Chloe and Lily. The Sheriff's Department told the family it was apparent Constance had been fleeing the fire on foot when she perished. She and her daughters had gotten separated from her husband, Michael Reed.

Morris made the announcement Saturday afternoon on behalf of the family from Parkway Church of God. "Our hearts are broken to receive this news, " said Morris.

The church has set up a fund for the Reed family at Parkway Church of God.
