Myron M. Greene, 87, of Eau Claire died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born in Eau Claire, Wis., on May 9, 1919, the son of Charlie and Minnie (Lee) Greene.
Myron married his wife, Marjorie Hibbard, in Eau Claire.
He worked as a machinist for Nordberg Machining Company in Milwaukee until his retirement.
Myron is survived by his two sons, Albert (Angelina Plumeri) of Eau Claire, John (Cheryl) Greene of Green Bay; a daughter, Betty Greene of Eau Claire; six grandchildren, Sherry, Michael (Ciria), Albert Jr. (Linda), Shelia, Toni Greene and John Erik (Raemy) Greene of Little Chute, Wis.; nine great-grandchildren, Angel, Armondo and Adrian Castaneda, Aylani, Andres, Shayla, Teesha, and Jacqueline Greene, Conner Greene; two great-great grandchildren, Angel Antonio and Amanda J. Castaneda; two sisters, Margaret Greene of Milwaukee, and Gladys Bernard of La Verne, Calif.; and by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; his parents; and brother, Clifford.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, with Dale Lunderville officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
