Margie was the eldest daughter of Roy and Clara Taylor Hahn. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Preston Holt; a sister, Hallie Thomas; a brother, Don Hahn; and a son-in-law, Bobby Crume.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Crume of Chaplin and Doris (I.B.) Jenkins of Louisville; three granddaughters, Carla (Baxter) Schilling of Louisville, Julie (Dan) Griggs of Lexington and Cynthia (Bret) Louderback of Milford, OH.; five great grandsons: William Preston Schilling, John Baxter Jeb Schilling, David Jackson Louderback, Brennan Hayes Louderback and Daniel Glenn Griggs, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
Margie was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She greeted each visitor to her home with a smile and open arms, and of course, an invitation to join her for a meal. Her good natured disposition and outlook on life was an inspiration to all who loved her.
The family would like to recognize the caregivers in the Chaplin community who assisted Margie in her home over the years. The many calls, visits, cards and notes she received were greatly appreciated and made her life rich with friendship and love.
