1657-MAGDALENE PEFFLEY (dau. of 5) married in Botetourt Co.,Va. BENJAMIN MARKEY, who died Apr. 2nd, 1837. Magdalene died Feb. 12th, 1854. Both are buried in the Harshbarger Cemetery near Ladoga, Indiana. No issue. Benjamin Markey was married first in Virginia to Magdalene Cline by whom he had several children who moved to Indiana in 1833, except Catharine, who married Geo. Garst, a cousin of Magdalene Peffley.
