The funeral of Richard Forsyth, a veteran of World War I and son of the late Frederick J. and Julia A. Forsyth was held at the home of his brother, Joseph E. Forsyth, 146 West Cayuga street at 9 o'clock Friday morning and in St. Paul's Catholic church at 9:30.
Military honors were accorded by a firing squad and bugler from the American Legion post. They acted as honor guard from the home to the church and thence to St. Paul's cemetery where taps was sounded and the final volley was fired.
