Marceedas D. Eisner, age 84, a resident of the Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, died early Wednesday morning, December 7, 2016 at the Center.

She was born on December 11, 1931 in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Frank and Johanna (Stephani) Wagner. Marceedas was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1949. On January 28, 1950 she married Vernon J. Eisner at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2015. She was employed at Manitowoc County Bank and then Chermake Sausage Company until her retirement in 1991. After retiring, she enjoyed crocheting, working in her garden and the church choir. Marceedas also liked playing sheepshead and spending time with the family at the cottage on Horseshoe Lake.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law: Andrew Eisner & special friend Karolyn Schultz, rural Whitelaw, George & Cheryl Nechodomu, Nebraska, Michael & Lora Eisner, rural Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law: Christine & Danny Zamzow, Fond du Lac, Cathleen & Dennis Luckow, rural Manitowoc; nineteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law: Evelyn Wagner, Marinette and Brynce Riesterer, St. Nazianz. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by a son: Vernon Eisner Jr., two grandchildren: Jennifer Eisner and Brian Strauss; one sister and brother-in-law: Armilla and Dan Mrotek; one brother: Edward Wagner; four brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law: Paul and Alice Eisner, Lloyd and Leona Eisner, Norbert and Jeanette Herrmann, Lester Riesterer; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Edward and Margaret Eisner.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2016 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry with burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Alverno.

The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2016. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. led by Sister Marlita Henseler. Friends may also call Monday morning, December 12, 2016 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
