Stanley Acker, born February 7, 1930 in New York City, son of Charles and Francis Acker, passed away at the age of 78 on March 6, 2008. Stanley, a successful self-made entrepreneur, was notably one of the most important pioneers in the Mass Market cosmetics industry and the founder, CEO and President of Pavion Ltd.. His company manufactured Wet-n-Wild cosmetics as well as a number of other brands marketed worldwide, selling hundreds of millions of lipsticks, nail polishes and other cosmetic products each year. Stanley not only had remarkable business acumen, marketing know-how and entrepreneurial spirit, he was a real people person with a heart of gold, a very warm, caring and loveable soul, and had a dynamic sense of fun and humor. An avid fisherman, he loved to dance, travel and spend time with his family. Stanley will be a lingering memory in the hearts of his family, friends and business associates for many years to come. He resided in Delray Beach, Florida with his wife Arlene and summered in Nyack, New York. Stanley, in his last days, was surrounded by the love and deep affection of his wife, Arlene, his children Karen, Mark and David, and their extended families. He is survived by his wife Arlene, his brother Robert, his three children Karen, Mark and David, their spouses Glenn, Rochelle and Ellen and his grandchildren Adam, Marissa, Ian and Charlie. He will also be sorely missed by Glenn's children Matthew and Allison and Arlene's children Jill, Lori, Glenn, and Scott, their spouses Jeff, Steven and Lisa and their children Alison, Ian, Bonnie, Macie, Gaia, Joshua and Alexandra. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 11 AM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, New York,
