The Rev. Charles Ron Hembree, 72, of Murrysville, died Thursday, June 10, 2010, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. He was born April 23, 1938, in Zincville, Okla., a son of Lucy King Hembree, of North Huntingdon, and the late Rev. Charles Fred Hembree. He was the president of Cornerstone Television, president and founder of Good Friends, a member of Cornerstone Ministries, and he had two PhDs. Ron lived God's word and loved his family. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, LeRay and Daniel Hembree. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Cathy Hartman Hembree; sons, Rodney Hembree and wife, Janice, of Orangeville, Ontario, Canada, Chad Hembree, of Jeannette, Kyle Hembree and wife, Toni, of Jeannette, and Frank Hembree, Jeremy and Isaac "Boo Boo," all at home; two daughters, Robin Heiskell and husband, Eugene, of Goodyear, Ariz., and Cassie Hembree, at home; and all the children who called him Dad; and six grandchildren, Derek, Sean, Jessica Joy, Ryan, Corie and Brandon. Plans for a memorial service will be announced through Cornerstone Television. The JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, in charge of arrangements.
