She was born on August 31, 1928 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Frank and Lillian (Petska) Fidler. Lucille was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1947. On October 11, 1952 she married James J. Pankratz at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2006. Lucille enjoyed gardening, playing cards and was an avid sports fan. She was a former member of the Daughters of Isabella and Christian Mothers of Holy Innocents. Lucille was currently a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
Survivors include one son: Thomas Pankratz, Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law: Holly & Tony Prospero, Wauwatosa; three grandchildren: Gabriel, Max & Augustin; one sister-in-law: Jeanette Pankratz, AZ. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Victor (Jeanette) Fidler, Lester (Margaret) Fidler and Roy Fidler; and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo (1121 North 14th Street) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Pleier with entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
