Walter MacDonald

Walter MacDonald, 76, 446 County Line St., died at 6:20 a.m. today in the New Castle Hospital, following a short illness. Born Aprill 22, 1880, in Sharpsville, Pa., he was a son of John L. and Margaret Tennant MacDonald. He was a retired engineer on the B & O Railroad and was a member of the First Christian Church. He also was a member of the Keystone Bible Class, Sharpsville Lodge, F. and A.M.; New Castle Consistory, AASR; BPOE, No. 69.

Surviving in addition to his widow Mrs. Della Barber MacDonald, to whom he had been wed 39 years, and one sister, Mrs. Thomas R. Aubrey, Brownsville, Pa,; one brother Thomas MacDonald, Hubbard, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Harry Tennant Funeral Home, Farrell with the Rev. Samuel L. Fleming in charge. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Boyd-Myers Home for Funerals, 208 N. Jefferson St., tomorrow 7-9 p.m. and at the Harry Tennant Funeral Home Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
