Shirley, 79, formerly of 14 Haarbye St., New Bremen, died at 11:37 p.m., at the Heritage Manor Nursing Center, where she resided for the past six years.

She was born to Ralph and B. Marie (Finkenbine) Fogt. On Apr 19, 1947, she married Richard Black, who survives in Minster.

Also surviving are a son, Dr. Jeff (Cheryl) Black, Dallas; two daughters, Christine (Robert) Werst, Duluth, Ga. and Pam (Paul) Phlipot, Minster.

Funeral services at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen, with the Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating.
