David came from England sometime abt. 1890. He had been here before. He was the first of his family to come to the U.S.A. He was a Blacksmith as his family in England owned the Coutts Carriage Co. Here he worked for Eli Whitney near the falls on Whitney Av. and Winchester Repeating Arm Co.
