She was born February 18, 1924 in Jersey City, NJ the second child of the late Joseph O'Neill and Margaret Devaney O'Neill, a survivor of the Titanic.
Kathy was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Albert the Great Church as well as a member of the "ACES" group. She enjoyed playing golf at Hunting Creek Country Club and was one of their charter members. Her greatest achievement was mother to her six children.
She is also preceded in death by her two brothers, Matthew and John O'Neill.
She is survived by her six children. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and her sister.
A memorial Mass to celebrate Kathryn's life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 1395 Girard Drive. Burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery. A memorial visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road.
The family wishes to add a special thanks to the staff of Twinbrook Nursing Home and to Hosparus-Hospice of Louisville for their dedication to her care.
