Arnie Esther (Hagewood) Bratten was born on April 8, 1928 in Davidson County, Tennessee, the daughter of James Sanford "Sank" Hagewood (1883–1967) and Vallintine Berdette "Vallie" (Dunaway) Hagewood (1887–1948).

She was married about 1944 to Kermit "Dawes" Bratten, who was born on March 25, 1925 in DeKalb County, Tennessee and died on June 15, 2006 in Nashville: He was the son of Willie B Bratten (1893-1975) and Ora (Oakley) Bratten (1896-1935).

A resident of Nashville, Tennessee, Arnie was 88 years ols when she passed away on December 12, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and by hr grandson Randall Wayne "Buster" Estes Jr, while survivors included two married daughters; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and three 2nd-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held in the chapel of Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, and burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
