Mrs. Emma Schroeder, 68, of 614 Samz Road, Mishicot, died Tuesday evening,
August 20, at the Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Mishicot.
Rev. David Waege will officiate and burial will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two
Rivers.
Mrs. Schroeder was born May 28, 1917, in the Town of Gibson, daughter of the
late Edward and Mary Kouba Krajnek. She married Ralph Schroeder on November 8,
1941, at Manitowoc. She farmed with her husband in the Town of Mishicot, until
retirement in June, 1977.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann
and Harold Burt of Mishicot, Darlene and Cy Shillcox of Mishicot, and Ruth and
Rick Kocian of Francis Creek; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Olive
Krajnek of Maribel and Ed and Agnes Krajnek of Manitowoc; four sisters and three
brothers-in-law, Mrs. Mary Novak of Manitowoc, Libbie and Robert Taicher of
Denmark, Lillian and Walter Malach of Two Rivers, and Marcy nd (sic) Jerry
Ashenbrenner of Manitowoc; a brother-in-law, Quiren Pech of Manitowoc, and
grandchildren, Jeff Burt, Julie Burt, Mark and Cherl Burt, Vicki Shillcox, Joel
Kocian and Jill Kocian. She was preceded in death by a son, James in 1948, and
two sisters.
Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, 4 o'clock
to 9 o'clock this Thursday afternoon and from 10 a.m. to the time of services at
the church on Friday.
