Glasgow Woman Is Influenza Victim
Mrs. S.G. Murphy was Glasgow's third Spanish influenza victim, having passed away Monday afternoon at her home on the corner of Sixth street and Fifth avenue south, after an illness of only a few days duration.
Mrs. Murphy was taken sick last Wednesday but was not considered in serious condition. On Sunday night she said "good night" to her husband and little girls and seemed to be getting along very well. About one o'clock in the night she became much worse and from that time until her death continued to get steadily worse and did not regain consciousness.
Mr. and Mrs. Murphy have lived in Glasgow nearly three years. When first coming to Glasgow Mr. Murphy was a grain buyer at the Glasgow flour mill and later held a similar position at the Equity elevator.

Aside from her children and widowed husband, Mrs. Murphy is survived by her brother, H.T. Lane, who lives near Glasgow, and her sister, Mrs. Fred Ruppel, of Tampico; her mother, Mrs. Lane, who lives in Iowa; and another sister who lives in Cleveland, Ohio.
