Alfred D. McKechnie 5/21/1927 - 4/8/2012 Alfred Douglas McKechnie passed away peacefully at home on Easter Sunday. He was born in Tacoma to Robert and Alvilda McKechnie. He graduated from Lincoln High School; served 8 years with the National Guard. Alfred was a salesman all his life; spent many years with Cammarano Bros. He belonged to the Lakewood Lakesmen. Alfred was proud of his Scottish heritage. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends, gardening at his cottage on Lake Steilacoom, golfing, and the Coast. Alfred leaves behind his 3 daughters,3 grandchildren, as well as many loving extended family members and friends. Alfred will be greatly missed by all who knew him for his positive outlook, his sense of humor, and kindness to all. Donations may be made in Alfred's name to the American Heart Association.
