Later in his life, carnivals became his life's calling I guess and at one time he owned the second largest carnival in the the US. He married Mary Elizabeth Forrester. After her death he married her sister Mayo. Mayo was about 18 years younger than John and a beauty. I have no idea of marriage dates but I have family photo's made in 1941 with John and Mayo in them. They seperated before he died.
His parents and a brother Henry Tinsley preceded him in death.
A sister Mary Elizabeth Tinsley and a brother James M Terry survived him.
