Betty L. Kuntz of Hastings, and formerly of Faribault and Owatonna passed away December 17, 2016 at Regina Medical Center Hastings.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault with the Reverend Paul Rieger, associate pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Faribault officiating. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also for hour prior the services on Wednesday.
Betty Louise, the daughter of Carl and Hattie (Schlobohm) Abbe was born on April 11,1933. She married Ervin Kuntz on September 12, 1953 in Owatonna and he preceded her in death on March 2, 1996. She was a warm and intelligent mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved playing the piano, gardening and being at home.
She is survived by three children, Linda McCroskey of Hastings, son Jon (and Debby) Walser-Kuntz of Northfield and daughter Sandy (and Kevin) Burke of Hastings; grandchildren Robert Burke, Ben McCroskey, Nicholas Kuntz, Evan Walser-Kuntz, Ryan Walser-Kuntz, Emily Walser-Kuntz and Ally Kelly and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ervin; infant daughter Elizabeth and one brother, Vernon Abbe.
