Mrs. Monty was a gold star mother, having lost a son, Sgt. Harold Monty, who was killed in action in France on Oct 18, 1944.
Mrs. Money, nee Stella Badger, was a native of Redford. She was born on Nov 7, 1882.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Clarence Darrah and Miss Isabelle Monty of Plattsburgh, and Mrs. Doris Price of Ray Brook; one son, Floyd Monty of Plattsburgh; two brothers, Lyle Badger of Syracuse and Earl Badger of Saratoga Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Hamel of E. Rochester and Mrs. Robert Wentzel of Stockton, CA.
Funeral services will be held at St. John's Church. The body will be place in the vault in Mount Carmel Cemetery, to await interment in the family plot there this spring.
