Sonyea, July 15. – At the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Rochester, Miss Abigail L. Mannix, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Mannix, of Sonyea, became the bride of Charles A. McNamara, formerly of Rochester, but now of Reading, Pa. Nuptial mass was celebrated by Rev. A. M. O’Neil, D. D., rector of the church. Miss Nellie Mannix, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, and Leo B. McNamara, brother of the groom, was best man.
The bride was dressed in a traveling suit of blue tricotine, with hat to match, and wore a corsage bouquet of white roses. The bridesmaid wore a dress of navy Canton crepe, with hat to match, and a corsage bouquet of pink sweet peas. After the ceremony a breakfast was served at the home of Mrs. William Dwyer, aunt of the bride, to the immediate members of both families. Mr. and Mrs. McNamara left for Reading, where Mr. McNamara is managing an office for a Chicago financial house. The prenuptial events included a dinner at the Hotel Rochester by the faculty of No. 5 school, of which the bride was a member, and a luncheon at the Odenbach by friends of the bride.

No prior calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday morning at 9 o’clock in Corpus Christi Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Reference, Alvah Halloran and Son, Inc., 2125 Chili Ave.
