Jose Wolfskill. Committed by W. G. Dryden Judge of Los Angeles August 15th 1868. Age about 30 years; native of Los Angeles Co., Cal.; single; occupation, laborer. The evidence of insanity is general conduct, conversation and incendiary disposition. This is not a recent case; duration of insanity unknown; disease stationary with no rational intervals; hallucination, vast wealth; is dangerous from his incendiary disposition; has no disposition to injure others; is not suicidal; has no insane relations so far as ascertained - no peculiarities; has been temperate; no change in health; cause of insanity unknown; class not stated; not treated.
Condition of patient when received about the same as represented in above abstract of commitment.
Admitted August 20th 1868. Has no property. Died Aug. 31 1898 of Bright's disease (nephritis).

Jose was the son of William Wolfskill and his first wife Maria de la Luz Valencia. His father was married second in 1841 to Magalena Lugo.
