Enrique Longoria, 90, passed away peacefully, Friday January 5, 2007, at his residence in Encino, Texas. Mr. Longoria was born on July 15, 1916 to Mateo Longoria and Sabina Soliz Longoria in La Grulla, TX. He worked for many years as a self-employed rancher.

He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Micaela De Luna Longoria from Encino, Texas; a son, Enrique (Ella) Longoria, Jr. from San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Irma Nelda (Manuel) Cavazos from Edinburg, Texas; a brother, Octavio Longoria from Encino, Texas; four sisters, Amalia Cuellar from Falfurrias, Texas, Sara Vera from Premont, Texas, Flora Garza from Austin, Texas and Elva Hyde from Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mr. Longoria was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who will be missed greatly by all who loved him.

Rosary was recited Jan. 8 at the Howard-Williams-Turcotte Funeral Home in Falfurrias, TX. A funeral mass was celebrated Jan. 9 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Encino, Texas.

Interment followed at the Longoria Cemetery, Encino, TX.
