I have loved, and I have lost, some of my most favorite people in my world, and the world, and I know how it hurts, the loss, the void, but, I also know, my Savior, Jesus, and He has made my suffering right, and I know, He will do the same for you. And one day soon, we will ALL rejoice together in paradise!!! Amen and Amen!!! So stay strong, and stay focused, for our redemption is nigh!!! Amen and Amen!!!

1 Corinthians 15:51-57 ~
"Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: 'Death is swallowed up in victory.' O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Today we will bury my son on a rocky bluff on my sister's ranch in Blanco. He will be laid to rest next to his Dad. Side by side they will wait for the Great Resurrection morning when God's trumpet will announce His coming to take us all home. I believe Ben is already there enjoying all the glories of heaven. I know he is loving being pain free and surely there is a Whataburger stand somewhere there for my sweet funny son. I already miss him more than I think I can bear, but Jesus will continue to carry me. I thank everyone for their prayers... I can feel them and I am experiencing His supernatural strength thanks to your prayers. I am grateful. Thank you one and all for your love for Ben and your prayers for me and my family. Merry Christmas to all of you.

My heart is full of praise for our wonderful Savior. He blessed us with perfect weather at the ranch. There was such a sweet, natural sweetness about everything. The message that Floyd Lamrouex brought was absolutely perfect for the comfort of those who so loved my Ben. It flowed straight from his heart in such an honest, natural way and the Scriptures he used (which were a mix of Ben's favorites) and then one of Floyd's favorites, which was lengthy and he recited from memory. It was not a rehearsed, studied, message, but one that flowed extemporaneously to tell about Ben and his faith and how his faith was expressed by his works...his generosity and helpfulness with neighbors and included telling about their chats on the front porch about how Ben was longing for the second coming. He revealed Ben's heart of hearts through their times together working on cars and chatting on the porch. It was beautiful, natural, comforting, inspiring. I thank him so much for his friendship with Ben.

We left Ben's beloved body beside his Dad's, knowing that they were exactly where they had both asked to be laid to await the resurrection and their new bodies. Ben was a strong believer and had no doubts ever about his salvation and where he was going. Now he is THERE and we rejoice for him in his home going. Please pray for his son. He shared with me that he had had no idea that grief was this painful. He is suffering from the loss of his dad's presence. They have been joined at the hip for his entire life and this temporary parting is agony for him. It is well...it is well with my soul!
