Mrs. Mattie Bell Merritt Richardson White Hess Eller, 76, wife of Charlie Eller of Pocahontas, Va. died Thursday morning, November 6, 1958 at her home.
Born May 25, 1882 in Tazewell County, Va. she was a daughter of Charlie B. Richardson and Hattie Merritt Richardson Proffitt.
Services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Abbs Valley Church of God with burial in the church cemetery.
The body will be removed from the residence to the church at 1 p.m. Saturday.
The Pocahontas Union Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons by a former marriage, Stewart and Thomas White, both of Bluefield, James White of Rowe, Va. and John White of Alexandria, Va.; three daughters, Miss Lena White at home, Mrs. Floyd Smith, Hudley, Ky. and Mrs. Helen Byrum, Columbus, Ohio; four sisters, Miss Sadie Profitt, Bluefield, Mrs. Mae Hoops, Jacksonville, Fl. , Mrs. Josie Cline and Mrs. Mary Hess both of Swords Creek, Va. and 36 grandchildren.
