William (Bill) Boyd, Jr., age 76, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Friday, October 1, 2004, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Born in Rose Bud, Arkansas, on February 16, 1928, he was the son of the late William Boyd, Sr. and Norablossom (McKenzie) Boyd. Mr. Boyd was a backhoe operator in the construction business. His religious belief was nondenominational. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Fern Boyd, two brothers, a sister, and his parents. Mr. Boyd is survived by his wife, Norma Jean (Turner) Boyd of Heber Springs, AR, one son, Mike Boyd and his wife, Jana, two daughters, Doris Massey and her husband, Jack, and Peggy Harrison and her husband, Rick, all of Rose Bud, AR, two stepsons, Benjamin Mullens and his wife, Rita, and Rick Mullens, all of Rose Bud, AR, two stepdaughters, Shirley Waller and her husband, Lloyd, of Heber Springs, AR, and Sonja Smith and her husband, Perry, of Pangburn, AR, one sister, Myrtle Penrod of Greenbrier, AR, six grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Mr. Boyd is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
