Leona "Lee" Moreau, age 72, of 2819 11th St., Two Rivers, died early
Wednesday morning, September 8, 1999, at Holy Family Memorial Medical
Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 10, 1999, at
Grace Congregational United Church of Christ, Two Rivers. Rev. Kim
Henning will officiate at the service with burial to follow in Pioneer
Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.
She was born September 22, 1927, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late
Freeman and Ada Hindt Harding. She attended grade school in Two Rivers,
and Washington High School graduating with the class of 1945. On August
5, 1950, she married Felix Moreau Jr. in Two Rivers. He preceded her in
death on February 12, 1988. Leona was employed by the Joseph Mann
Library in the Children's Room for 25 years.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Phil and Judy Moreau,
Saukeville, Wis., Greg and Mary Moreau, Two Rivers; four grandchildren,
Chad, Stephani, Eric, and Kyle Moreau; one brother and sister-in-law,
Victor and Lorraine Harding, Two Rivers; one half-brother, Roger
Harding, Grandville, Mich.; one sister, Irene Thompson, Springfield,
Ore.; one half-sister, Marie Snow, Grandville, Mich. She is further
survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Orland Moreau, Ruth
Peterson, Evelyn (Bernard St.) Reed, Dale (Rita) Moreau, Judy (Harold)
Shehan, Joseph Vross. Besides her parents and her husband, she was
preceded in death by two sisters, Edna and Dorothy; and one brother, Ivan.
Friends may call at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers from
5-8 p.m. Thursday (TONIGHT), and at Grace Congregational United Church
of Christ on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.
Memorials would be appreciated to Grace Congregational United Church of
Christ, Two Rivers.
