Evelyn I. Bachman, 82, of Bingen, died Monday, December 26, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was born in Bethlehem on June 7, 1934 to the late Abraham and Anna Helen (Holluk) Berkenstock. Evelyn was a machine operator at the former Western Electric, Allentown for 34 years until retirement.
Survivors: Children: Richard J. of Bethlehem, Robert L. of Rochdale, MA, Geraldine A. (Dean) Hartranft of Allentown, Ronald D. (Deborah A.) of Spencer, MA; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter: Sandra I. McHugh; grandson: Jason D. Hartranft; and siblings.
Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10-11 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
