Grace C. Gorychka, age 94, of 2516 Lakeside Blvd., Manitowoc, died early Tuesday morning, April 11, 2017 at her residence with her family by her side.She was born on January 3, 1923 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Sylvester and Jennie (Novak) Gorychka. Grace was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1941. She was employed as the executive secretary at the former Kurth Malting Company in Manitowoc for 30 years, retiring in 1988. Grace was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.Survivors include two nieces: Jeanne Gorychka, Diane Gorychka and her husband, Bill Hansen; one nephew: Gary Gorychka, all of Manitowoc; and two great nephews and one great niece: Brian, Patrick, Kimberly and her husband, Brian; a goddaughter: Patricia Chelmecki and her husband John, Milwaukee. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Florence Gorychka and two brothers: Richard & Edwin Gorychka.Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 S. 21st Street) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Beaudry with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. A reception will be held at the All-Care Family Center across from the street from Pfeffer Funeral Home (925 South 14th Street).The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 S. 21st Street) Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2017 until 10:15 a.m.
