Obituary of John H. "Junior" Imler
John H. "Junior" Imler, 84, 570 Baker Lane, Duncansville, died Tuesday evening, May 19, 1998, at Bon Secours-Holy Family Hospital.
He was born June 23, 1913, in Roaring Spring, the son of Charles and Stella (Smith) Imler.
He married Marian B. Schilling in February 1959 in Cherry Tree. She died June 11, 1994.
Mr. Imler formerly attended Holy Revival Church, Hollidaysburg.
He retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad and also worked as a bottler at Pepsi-Cola Co.'s Altoona plant and at Shenandoah Apple Co., Winchester, Va.
Mr. Imler attended Penn State College.
He was a railroad buff.
Surviving are four sons: Charles Imler, with whom he resided, James Imler of Ashville and George Everhart and Gerald Everhart, both of Altoona; a daughter, Martha Everhart of Duncansville; a sister, Julia Gailey of Nashville, Tenn.; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene K. Echols, Dec. 27, 1992.

IMLER -- Funeral services for John H. "Junior" Imler will be held at 9 p.m. today at Sorge Funeral Home by Pastor Ronald E. Plowman.
Interment will be made in Blair County.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Sorge Funeral Home.
Preceded in death by a sister, Betty Elizabeth.
Memorials may be given in care of the funeral home.
