(1930 - 2016)

Marion A. Kovarik, age 86, formerly of 2804 Johnston Dr., Manitowoc, entered into eternal rest Wed. afternoon, December 28, 2016 at the North Ridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center, of Manitowoc.

Marion was born August 18, 1930 in Two Rivers to the late Henry and Mildred Mott Hagenow and has been a lifelong area resident. She married Anton Dawidowich and he preceded her in death, and later marrried Edward Kovarik who also preceded her in death. Marion worked for the former Tinsel Factory and later Santas Best, and for Eggers Plywood. She was a member of the Melnik Presbyterian Church in Melnik. She enjoyed spending time with her sister, Donna Musil, and her special niece, Kim Rahmlow, who she thought of as her daughter. Marion enjoyed cooking, baking, making Kolaches and an occasional beer. She also enjoyed playing softball in earlier years at Tinny Laude's.

She is survived by one sister: Donna Musil, of rural Two Rivers, one brother: Paul Hagenow, of rural Mishicot, her nieces and nephews: Kim Rahmlow and her special friend, Jeff Wiltman, of rural Mishicot, Rodney and Laurie Musil, of rural Two Rivers, Cindy and Mike Preston, of Whitelaw, Rick and Mary Hagenow of Francis Creek, Tammy and Kevin Shedal, of Mishicot, Dean and Sue Hagenow, of rural Two Rivers, Dawn and Robert Behrmann, of rural Denmark, Denny Hagenow, of Two Rivers, her great-nieces and nephews: Steven Rahmlow, Paul Rahmlow, Brad (Shannon) Musil, Kayla (Josh) Taddy, Laurie (Steve) Backus, Sara (Ryan) Zimmerman, Marie (Bruce) Denor, Mike Hagenow, Tyler (Kari) Hagenow, Jodie (Dan) Miller, Lori Hagenow, Brittny (Mark) Zeman, Nikki Behrmann, Michael Behrmann, Justin Behrmann, Jarid Behrmann, Dannon Hagenow, Derick Hagenow, Devon Hagenow, and by her special companion of over 30 years: Ralph Belongia, of Manitowoc. In addition to her parents, and her husbands, she was also preceded in death by one brother: Donald (Darlene) Hagenow, a brother-in-law: Leonard Musil, a sister-in-law: Sharon Hagenow, and a great nephew: Dean Hagenow Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home in Mishicot, with Phil Kinzel, Lay Pastor (CRE) of the Melnik Presbyterian Church in Melnik, with burial to follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Two Rivers.
