On December 15, 2015, VALENTINE A. SZCZEPANIAK died peacefully at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

He was born in Canton, Baltimore City on April 17, 1943 to William "Lefty" Szczepanial and Rosalie Marzec Szczepaniak. He graduated from St. Casimer's Parochial School and Patterson High School.

On April 27, 1968, he married Miss Agnes Susan Mielke at St. Anthony of Padua Church, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel J. Mielke of Woodlea Avenue.

He is survived by his wife "Aggie", and children, Gregory Szczepaniak and his wife Beth and Lauren LaPoint and her husband Bob.
Loving "Pop" to Sophia, Luke, Charlie and William.

Also survived by sisters, Geraldine Smith, Patricia Downing and Rosalie Sellman , Sisters-in-law, Doe, Jean and Susan, Brothers-in-law, John, Dan, Jim and Gary.

The viewing was held at the Ruck Funeral Home of Towson, 1050 York Road.
A funeral mass was celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 2 Willow Avenue. In lieu of flowers, it was suggested that memorial donation be made to St. Michael's Church.
