Rosalie is survived by her husband Robert Christner, Sr. of Leroy; son Robert Christner, Jr. of Batavia; daughters, Lynn Smart of Batavia, Lisa (David) Mulcahy of Palm City, Florida, Judi (John) Simmins of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Jennifer (Jason) Hodge of Port St. Lucie, Florida; brothers, Joseph (Sandy) Chiappone of Perry, and John Chiappone of Silver Springs, Nevada; grandchildren, Rebecca (Jon) Mason, Sara (Michael) Borlaug, Matthew (Stefanie) Smart, Alex Mulcahy, Stephen (Katherine) Christner, Eric Mulcahy, Lacey (Dan) Wheeler, Callie Mulcahy, John Simmins, Charlie Simmins, Chris Simmins, Marianna Simmins, Lizzie Simmins, Jaden Hodge and Jackson Hodge; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Anthony Borlaug, Alix and Avery Mason, Austin and Kylie Smart and Lincoln Christner; and many nieces and nephews.
Rosie enjoyed making memories with her family, playing games and visiting. She will be remembered for her unwavering Christian faith, her infectious smile, quirky sense of humor and affectionate display of love for her family. She is now resting in paradise with those who passed before her, watching over us with love and grace.
A celebration of her life is to be planned in Perry, New York in the summer of 2017.
