Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the St. John
Lutheran Church, Newtonburg. The Rev. L. Brandt of Appleton will
officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was born in Eaton in 1884 and in 1907 married Miss Martha Wahalerd?.
They located on a Newton farm. His wife died in 1950. In 1951, he
married Rose Schroeder. He was a former vice president of the Liberty-
Newton Telephone Company and an officer in the St. John congregation.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Mrs. Arlet Ott of Rt. 1, Manitowoc;
son, Wilbert of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; sister, Mrs. Anna Holdorf of
Manitowoc; three brothers, John and August of Manitowoc and Arthur
of Rt. 1, Kiel.
Friends may call at the Berge Funeral Home, Valders, after 1 p.m.
Tuesday. The casket will be moved to the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
