Funeral Services will be held at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Newtonburg, Wis., at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 1994. Rev. Timothy Ehlers
will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
She was born February 28, 1909, in the town of Cato, daughter of the late Frederick
and Marie Karow Bratz. She attended schools in the town of Cato. She married Marvin
Diederichs on June 10, 1944, in Reedsville. She worked as a home care giver and later
cared for foster children. She was also employed at the A&P Whitehouse Milk. She was
a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and the White Trail Homemakers of
Newton.
Survivors include a brother and sister-i-law, Otto and Eileen Bratz, Two Rivers; four
sisters-in-law, Mrs. Emil Bratz, Mrs. Walter Bratz, Mrs. Anita Butenhoff, Mrs. Violet
Diederichs; nieces, nephews and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Marvin in 1982 and five brothers.
Friends may call at the Jens Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday (TONIGHT) and from 2
p.m. Wednesday until the time of services at the church.
Memorials may be made to the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
