Mrs. Arthur Alexander, 48, Dies in La Place

Mrs. Arthur Alexander, 48, died in her home here at 6 a.m. Monday. The body was taken to the Dobson funeral home in Cerro Gordo, and will be brought to the residence here Tuesday afternoon.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:330 p.m. Wednesday in the LaPlace church of the Brethren, of which she was a member, and burial will be in LaPlace cemetery.
Mrs. Alexander was born near Cerro Gordo April 8, 1892, and was married here Dec. 22, 1909, to Arthur Alexander, whom she leaves with four children, Melvin of Westville, Mrs. Ione Marshall of Mattoon, and Vannis and Mervin at home. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Hattie Henricks of LaPlace, and four brothers, Herbert Henricks of Cerro Gordo, Eldo of Mount Morris, Glenn of Chicago, and Charles of Pittsburgh, Pa.
