Lower East Pubnico - We announce the death of Annie Louise Amiro, native of Lower East Pubnico, on Saturday, March 17th, at Yarmouth Regional Hospital, at the age of 96. She was the daughter of the late Henri Amirault and Agnes Amirault.
She was a member of Nouveaux Horizons.
She leaves in mourning two daughters, Vivian Amirault of Middle East Pubnico and Florence d'Eon of Lower East Pubnico; two sons, Louis of Woods Harbour and Lawrence of Lower East Pubnico; one sister, Irene Amirault of Middle East Pubnico; 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar; a son, George; three brothers, Albert, George and William; and four sisters, Augustina, Augusta, Mary and Evelyn.
Visitation was at West Pubnico Funeral Home. The funeral was held Monday, March 19th, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in East Pubnico, Father Clarence d'Entremont, officiant. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
