A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield, where the visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time. Rev. Daniel Sedlacek will officiate. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be grandchildren.
Adeline was born Oct. 8, 1919 in Marshfield, to Blasius and Veronica (Bauman) Wagner. She was united in marriage to Earl B. Burr May 19, 1938 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield. He died Dec. 10, 1983.
Adeline was a devoted homemaker and a member of St. John's Catholic Church, the Parish Council of Catholic Women and the Lady Knights. She enjoyed her card club and loved crocheting, making numerous afghans for her family and every grandchild. She crocheted until 2 days before she passed away. She also enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Adeline is survived by her 4 daughters. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents. Her husband, a grandson, Perry Hauke, a son-in-law, Robert Hauke and ten brothers and sisters.
