Jacob Sullivan Kline, 82, of 54 South Ave., died at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday in Bradford Hospital following a short illness. He had been hospitalized since Feb. 10.
Mr. Kline was born Aug. 30, 1890, in Rocton, a son of Ira and Amanda Kline.He worked in the coal mines at Weedville, and came to Bradford in 1942, where he was employed by the Martin Platko Co., which specialized in cutting electrical rights-of-way.
In 1917 he married the former Elsie Smith, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Mrs. Frances Campbell of Frenchville, and Mrs. Marjorie McCracken of Penfield; two sons, Paul and Edward Kline, both of Bradford, a sister, Mrs. Pearl Sullivan of Mercer; six grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel after 7 p.m. today, and after 3 p.m. Friday, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
Saturday by the Rev. Ronald Tovey of the First Free Methodist Church. Burial
will be in Limestone, N.Y., Cemetery.

Bradford Hospital on Wednesday, were held at the Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel at
11 a.m. Saturdaywith the Rev. Ronald Tovey of the First Free Methodist Church
officiating. Burial was in Limestone, N.Y., Cemetery.
Mr. Kline was also survived by four step-grandchildren; 20 step-great
grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
