She was born August 23, 1929 in Worcester, the daughter of Arthur J. and Grace E. (Griffin) Boughton.
She married Melvin Bolton on November 3, 1954. He predeceased her on June 25, 1988.
Mrs. Bolton was a care giver for several area families. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Worcester and the Worcester Grange. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors are her daughter, Bonnie Bolton Henderson and husband, Paul, of East Durham; two sons, Larry Bolton and wife, Evelyn, of Schenevus and Wayne Bolton of Worcester; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; a brother and three sisters.
Calling hours will be Noon to 1 p.m. with the service at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester. The Rev. Judith A. Thistle, pastor of the Second Baptist Church will be officiating.
Interment will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester.
