John A Tabor, a well known young man who has resided in Bluefield ever since it was founded, died last night at 10:30 at his home on Burton street, after several months' illness from tuberculosis. While in declining health for many months, Mr Tabor had only been confined to his room for a few days. He was conscious up to the hour of dissolution and expressed his readiness to enter the "dark valley."
Mr Tabor is survived by three brothers and four sisters: D W, Marvin and Samuel Tabor, Misses Nannie and Lou Tabor, and Mesdames R B Ferguson, Hugh Lucas and M Keister.
Funeral services will be held at his late residence on Burton street tomorrow at 1 o'clock, and interment will take place at 1:30 at the family burying ground at Falls Mills.
