Hazel Jean Ladner, 79, of Ridgeland, passed away on January 6, 2017 while surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on March 27, 1937 to William and Elizabeth Brumley in Kilbourne, LA and has been a resident of Ridgeland, MS for the past 35 years. A Cosmetologist by trade, Mrs. Ladner was dedicated to her family and volunteered at her church.
Hazel is survived by daughters, Linda Leggette Phillips (Mike), Judith Leggette Wheatley (Lee), Vicky Leggette Brooks and Gail Leggette Fletcher; son, James Ralph Leggette, Jr. (Pam); sister, Irene Allen; brother, Clyde Brumley; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Ladner; parents; William and Elizabeth Brumley, sisters: Aliece Welch, Vernice Thames, Gladys Bradford, brothers: Elton Brumley, Walter Brumley, Willie Brumley, Wilton Brumley and Ruhl Brumley.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 9, 2017, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Natchez Trace Funeral Home and 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow. Rev. Stephen Sance will be officiating.
